Lotto Belgium Tour # 1. Ruth Winder gagne le CLM de Mettet dans le même temps que Mieke Kroeger. Coryn Rivera 3ème.

Ruth Winder (USA National Team) a remporté ce mardi la 1ère étape du Lotto Belgium Tour (2.1), un contre-la-montre individuel très sinueux de 5 km tracé sur le Circuit Jules Tacheny à Mettet. La championne des Etats-Unis sur route a devancé (dans la même seconde) l'Allemande Mieke Kroeger. Sa coéquipière Coryn Rivera a terminé à 12". Demain, 1ère étape entre Moorslede et Dadizele (123 km).
